Arif Ghafoor is currently a professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. He has been actively engaged in research on multimedia information systems, database security, and parallel and distributed computing. He is a fellow of the IEEE.

Walid G. Aref is currently professor of computer science at Purdue University. His research interests include developing database technologies for emerging applications, for example, spatial, multimedia, genomics, and sensor-based databases. He is a senior member of the IEEE.

Abdulrahman A. Almutairi is a PhD student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. His research interests include information security and privacy and cloud computing systems. Almutairi has an MS in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University. He is a student member of IEEE.

Zahid Pervaiz is currently working towards the PhD degree in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University. His research interests are in data privacy, distributed system security, and access control.

Muhammad I. Sarfraz is a PhD student in School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. His research interests include distributed access control and information security and privacy. Sarfraz has a BSC in computer science from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He is a student member of IEEE.

Muhammad Umer Arshad is a PhD candidate in ECE department, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. His research interests include data privacy, distributed system security, and access control. He has previously interned with VMware, and Yahoo! in Silicon Valley.
